I create and sell digital crochet patterns through my shop, Knotty Yarn Creation. Once I design a pattern and put it online, it can sell over and over again without extra work. I also design printable planners, journals, and wall art for Etsy—another steady source of income.
2. Teaching Online
I teach crochet lessons virtually, helping beginners and intermediate students learn new stitches, patterns, and techniques. I also sell online courses on creative skills and business tips, using platforms like Teachable and Gumroad.
3. Content Creation
I run YouTube channels—some with my face on camera and some faceless channels using stock footage and AI voiceovers. These bring in ad revenue and open the door to sponsorships. I also create short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels to reach new audiences and drive traffic to my products.
4. Affiliate Marketing
I recommend tools, materials, and products I use and love. When someone buys through my affiliate link, I earn a commission. This works especially well when I share tutorials or reviews because people trust my recommendations.
5. Print-on-Demand Products
I design custom mugs, shirts, and tote bags through print-on-demand services like Printful. Customers order online, and the company handles printing and shipping—I never have to keep inventory at home.
6. AI-Driven Projects
I use AI tools to speed up my content creation—everything from designing social media posts to helping me write eBooks faster. I also sell custom AI prompts and offer small automation services for other entrepreneurs who want to save time.
7. Online Communities & Newsletters
I run a paid online community where members get access to exclusive crochet patterns, business tips, and encouragement. My newsletter also generates income through paid subscriptions and partnerships.
The Secret to My Online Income
The key for me has been diversification—not relying on just one source of income. By combining digital products, teaching, content creation, affiliate marketing, and community building, I’ve created a steady flow of revenue that allows me to work from anywhere while doing what I love.
