Starting a YouTube Channel from Scratch? I Did It!

If you’ve ever thought about starting a YouTube channel, I want to tell you: I did it, and so can you! Starting from scratch can feel overwhelming, but it’s completely possible with focus and consistency.
Here’s what I learned:
- Choose Your Niche: Know what you want to talk about and who you want to reach. Your passion for your topic will show in every video.
- Original Content Matters: YouTube values original videos, so make content that’s uniquely yours.
- Monetization Rules: To join the YouTube Ad Program, you need 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours. Even after meeting those requirements, approval isn’t automatic. If rejected, you can reapply after 30 days once your videos meet the guidelines.
- Patience & Persistence: Growth takes time. Keep posting, stay consistent, and focus on providing value.
Starting my channel taught me that success comes when you combine passion, persistence, and strategy. Don’t wait—your niche is waiting for your voice!
